While earning a Dual-BS in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon, I was part of the team that built the initial functional prototypes of the Flex Robotic System. We were given a napkin sketch as an input to the project and were able to create a ‘snake robot’ capable of delivering instruments for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. Read more...

After raising their Series A, I joined Blue Belt Technologies as the 8th employee in 2009. I started there as a Mechanical Design Engineer, working with surgeons and designing instruments and implants for OR use/human implantation as we built the Navio Surgical Robotics System. Read more...
